Studies and consulting
A refrigeration installation is paid for over fifteen years, in energy and in breakdowns. The study is there to make the right choices before you sign.
What a study contains
Refrigeration load calculation and sizing
Calculation of the cooling, temperature and humidity needs of your premises or process, then choice of a capacity and a technology that fit, without oversizing.
Diagnosis of an existing installation
State of the equipment, consumption, leaks and weak points, with costed priorities so that you do not have to replace everything at once.
Refrigerants and regulation
Anticipating the scheduled phase-down of HFC refrigerants (EU Regulation 2024/573) and choosing the lowest-risk replacement for your equipment.
Specifications and works supervision
Tendering to contractors on a clear basis, comparative analysis of the offers, then supervision through to handover.
Replacing an oil or gas boiler room
Study of a replacement with a CO2 or propane heat pump: required water temperature, sizing, choice of refrigerant, safety constraints and eligibility for energy savings certificates (CEE).
Grants and funding
We systematically study your project's eligibility for energy savings certificates (CEE) and equivalent support.
From study to completion
Three ways of working together
A study does not commit you to any works. The first discussion and the visit are free.
Study and support
We carry out the study as a design office, help you consult and choose contractors, and supervise their work. We do not carry out the installation.
Study, then installation
We carry out the study and then the works. The study can be included in the installation and deducted from its price.
Installation only
You already have a technical file: we carry out the works.
When a study is useful
Before opening or extending premises
Cooling needs are calculated upstream. Correcting them after the works costs far more.
Before replacing an old unit
Replacing like for like is not always the right choice: refrigerant, capacity and control deserve a fresh look.
When the electricity bill keeps rising
Rising consumption is often the first sign of a setting fault, fouling or a leak.
When several quotes cannot be compared
A common technical basis makes it possible to compare offers that do not describe the same installation.
How a study runs
Discussion and scoping
Objectives, constraints, budget, schedule: the scope of the study is fixed before we start.
On-site survey
Measurements, review of what exists, survey of consumption and operating conditions.
Report and presentation
A written report and prioritised recommendations, presented and then explained in person.
A project to scope?
Describe your situation in a few lines. A free first discussion will tell you whether a study is needed and what it should cover.
